The University of the Philippines, through the Asian Institute of Tourism, and CY Cergy Paris UniversitΓ© (CYU), officially formalized their partnership through a Memorandum of Understanding, marking a significant milestone in advancing tourism education between two Universities.
Led by UP Chancellor Edgardo Carlo L. Vistan II, UP AIT Dean Giovanni Francis A. Legaspi, and CYU Director ExΓ©cutif Benjamin W.L. Derhy, this collaboration aims to promote activities such as student exchanges, collaborative research on cultural heritage and indigenous tourism, lectures and symposia, joint academic degrees, the exchange of academic information, and other forms of scholarly collaboration.
UP AIT will continue partnering with international universities to advance student-focused programs and foster collaborative research initiatives.
