The University of the Philippines Diliman and Kasetsart University’s Faculty of Management Sciences, Sriracha Campus in Thailand, signed a Memorandum of Agreement on Student Exchange on November 4, 2025. The ceremony was attended by Dr. Jumporth Boriraj, Dean of the Faculty of Management Sciences of Kasetsart University, Chancellor Edgardo Carlo Vistan II of UP Diliman, Dean Giovanni Francis A. Legaspi of the Asian Institute of Tourism, and Dean Shirley Guevara of the College of Home Economics, along with faculty and staff from AIT, CHE DHRIM, and the UP Office of International Linkages Diliman. This agreement builds upon the Memorandum of Understanding signed on March 31, 2025, and operationalizes the partnership through concrete student exchange mechanisms.
The agreement establishes a mutually beneficial framework for academic cooperation, including faculty and researcher exchanges, student mobility programs, collaborative research projects, and scholarly symposia. The partnership aims to develop students’ global perspectives and cultural sensitivity, preparing them to be effective leaders in an increasingly interconnected world while promoting scholarly activities and international understanding between Thailand and the Philippines.
