UPD inks partnership with Nayong Pilipino Foundation
UP Diliman (UPD) through the Asian Institute of Tourism (AIT) entered into a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Nayong Pilipino Foundation (NPF) on February 6, 2025 at the AIT Seminar Room.
Signed by UPD Chancellor Edgardo Carlo L. Vistan II and NPF Executive Director Gertrudes Duran-Batocabe, the MOU aims to strengthen research development and capacity building on cultural heritage, sustainable tourism, and creative industries. The partnership encompasses several joint initiatives, including the NPF-RI Research Summit Program, Philippine Research Conference on Tourism and Hospitality, Dunong Online Lectures, and the development of the Nayon Journal.
The ceremonial signing was also attended by NPF Deputy Executive Director Elaine Saniel, NPF Board of Trustees, UPD OVCRD Office of Extension Coordination Director Edna May Dela Peña, AIT Dean Giovanni Legaspi, AIT Executive Committee members and faculty
