UPD inks partnership with Pangasinan Polytechnic College
The University of the Philippines, through the Asian Institute of Tourism and Pangasinan Polytechnic College, officially formalized their partnership through a Memorandum of Understanding, marking a significant milestone in advancing tourism education in the province.
Led by the UP Chancellor Edgardo Carlo L. Vistan II, UP AIT Dean Giovanni Francis A. Legaspi, and PPC President Dr. Raymundo D. Rovillos, this collaboration aims to develop short courses and applied learning programs in tourism governance, management, arts, and culture; create upskilling opportunities for professionals in the tourism industry; and support Pangasinan’s economic growth through tourism development.
This partnership represents a commitment to harnessing human resources potential and providing accessible, industry-responsive education for the province and beyond.
